I bought the 3rd edition 2nd printing Chemistry book set for my daughter. We have loved using all Apologia's previous books. I was VERY disappointed in the quality of the new book. There are still many typos and errors, including mathematical errors. The solution manual does not always matchup to the material in the book. The math is not. Get this from a library! Most famously, Conversations on Chemistry is the book that served as Michael Faraday’s introduction to the chemical universe and to the wider world of science. In Mrs. Marcet, Faraday wrote, he had “got hold of an anchor in chemical knowledge, and clung fast to it.” A poor bookbinder’s apprentice, the young Faraday recreated Marcet’s experiments so far as he.
